Okanagan Valley.

A blend of Merlot (50 per cent), Cabernet (30), Cabernet Franc (11), Malbec (7), Petit Verdot (2).

Decanted.

Very dark purple in the glass.

Chocolate and spicy nose.

Quite rich, chocolate, juicy and fleshy raspberry and cherry fruit, smooth, good tangy acidity, peppery.

Not much of a finish, drying and not much else.

Purchased at $20.95 (Canadian).
