WTN: Sherwood Estate Pinot Noir 2004

by Bruce Hayes » Fri Sep 28, 2007 7:28 pm

Marlborough.

Ruby red color.

Cherry fruit and earth on the nose.

Strawberry and raspberry, spicy, very tangy, moderate weight, somewhat creamy-thick, vanilla, earthy with a slightly bitter streak.

Drying and tangy finish.

A rather refreshing Pinot Noir which worked well with Rainbow Trout.

Screwcap closure.

Purchased at $18.95 (Canadian).
