Dr. Pauly-Bergweiler - Riesling - Kabinett - Bernkasteler Badstube (2006)

Rating: 91
Price: $16.00

While I am admittedly not a Riesling “fan,” I was fortunate enough to give this one a shot. I purchased this wine at Costco for around $12.00.

This Riesling is fruity and has subtle spice accents. The nose is nice and the flavors are well balanced. The alcohol content comes in at 8.5% which is nice when you’re “splitting” a bottle with someone who doesn’t have more than a glass. True to form, this wine has a bit of a sweet kick to it so it may be best with savory pasta dishes.

Cheers!
