Bright, pure, unforced and almost tartly acidic. Nice with a pasta of chicken and capers. At just under 10€ I'll buy more.

I recently also head a nice Gamay from the Maconnais, the 2005 Domaine Fichet Mâcon-Igé La Montpellière.
Similar impressions: bright, light, fresh, simple, quite cheap (I think, I paid 5€ on close out). Very tasty!

Carl, a quick Google didn't turn up anything. But with Brun, and all the other Bojos that FLJim talks about you certainly shouldn't have a shortage of good Gamay on that side of the pond!

Robert, I think that the Mâcon has so much fun stuff to offer and usually at very decent prices.
