Maipo Valley.
Very dark purple, almost black, in the glass.
Chocolate and loads of spices on the nose.
Firm structure, black cherry, milk chocolate and sort of a malted milk flavour, floral, rich, slightly sweet, with a bit of a bite toward the end. The wine became a bit firmer with time.
A long, spicy finish.
I think the wine will benefit from some short-term aging.
Purchased at $14.95 (Canadian).
