Alsace.

Light yellow-green color.

Tangy acidity, peppery, very bracing, packing quite a punch, grapefruit, lemon rind, slightly oily, a hint of petrol. Turing rather austere and firm toward the end. A wine with both big flavours and big acidity. Enjoyable, but needs to be matched with hearty dishes.

Finishes clean with bitter lemon rind and quite peppery.

Screwcap closure.

Purchased at $14.15 (Canadian).

Thanks for the TN Bruce. I have rather neglected Alsace of late, `05 is a terrific vintage I understand.
