From archives.

TN: 2010 Chereau-Carre Muscadet Cuvee des Cepes Centenaires Comte Leloup Chasseloir..

Third bottle of 3, well soaked cork, opened 30 mins, see previous CTs.
Still shows a lemony green tinge, nose mineral tones but slightly vegetal so not a good sign. Some do age however but guess depands on storage.
Pear, mineral, citrus on the entry but short finish and not a great showing. Shrimp kebabs helped somewhat but not too profound.

Archive.

TN: 2012 Grand Fief de la Cormeraie Muscadet de Sevre-et-Maine Sur Lie.

First bottle of two, purchased say 3 yrs ago, $26 Cdn. Good natural cork, 12% alc.
Took a good hour to open and show its stuff! Light golden color, closed nose at first but then minerals, lemon, melon and pear..really shone on day 2.
Dry as I expected, mineral tones on entry. Nice acidity, good balance still, citrus finish with apple and pear, "enough complexity?" from across the table. Think best to drink now, went well with sauteed pork dumplings.

2012 Chereau-Gunther Muscadet de Sevre-et-Maine Comte de St. Hubert Chateau du Coing de St.Fiacre

Purchased 3 weeks ago, $26 Cdn. Good natural cork. Medium lemon in color, no green! Took a while to open up but then lemon, lotsa minerals, peach.
Quite dry on initial entry, good length here, medium bodied. Dry, lemony with mineral tones as expected.
Zippy for sure with excellent acidity. Read somewhere one punter had just opened his 2004..big wow from him!

I had the 2000 vintage a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. Outstanding QPR as well.

Nice John, maybe I should put one in the cellar?

I still have a 2000 in the cellar, so I would, they age very well.

Beware..from the Archive!
Just fancy a dry white this evening so digging around in the cellar, found a 2013 Chateau l`Oiseliniere de la Ramee (bottle 3/3). Its pretty cold outside but what the heck! Stay tuned.

Here are my notes on the 2010 Ramee>>>>
TN: 2010 Chereau-Carre Muscadet de Sevre-et-Main Chateau l`Oiseliniere de la Ramee, Loire Valley.

Stunning, has held up so well. Lemony nose with some white fruit tones. The color is mid lemon I would say, very bright still.
Initial entry thought is wish I had more but then `13/`14 is in the cellar already..$22 Cdn. Quite tangy with saline tone, nice length and no decline over 3 days.

Ok, just opened the 2013 Oiseliniere de la Ramee. Still cold outside minus 35!!

Good natural cork, light yellow green in color. Great aromatics with green apple, crushed rock, hints of peach and citrus. Sure has aged well eh. Great acidity, fruit balance, grapefruit especially. Love the citrussy appeal, great after 9yrs still. "Delightful" from across the table.
No shell fish, will panfry some pork scallopini.
