C'mon. Water TNs are fine but I'm surprised not a bit more chatter about the wine. Oh, that's right, "it's about the people".

The wines mentioned by JuliaB and Tom Noland were indeed delicious. Another nice Friday night wine was an 87 Chave Hermitage. I don't do tasting note kind of descriptors well.....just accept that this wine was very nice. There was also a nice vertical of Pichon Longueville Baron circa 1990.

On Saturday, Julia's Brunello was quite tasty. I also enjoyed the 01 Pira Barolo I brought. Tom Noland brought an off-theme Canadian icewine that had sweetness well-balanced by acidity.

I threatened to bring a '90 to Linda's house on Sat, but JB distracted me.

However,I will say, sleeping with the Noland Brothers is one of the best parts of my weekend. We had a blast..thanks gentlemen!
