Julia B., Mike Conner, Joel and Sallie, the chef (marvelous food!), all the helpers that set up, went for ice and flowers, cleaned up afterwards, lodge owners--thank you, thank you! James Roscoe, thanks for the taste of the Taittinger and the Pavie Macquin (one of my favorites of the weekend.)
I forgot to mention that John and Barbara Trombley were at the picnic Saturday and brought some marvelous Rieslings including an Austrian beerenauslese from Schloss Gobelsburg and a 2001 Joh. Jos. Prum Graacher Himmelreich Spatlese, and a 2009 Donhoff Oberhauser Brucke Auslese (peach notes and elegant.) They were definitely among my favorite wines of the weekend.

I would encourage anyone who has ever considered attending MoCool to make a plan to be at next year's event. For the good friends you will make and the great wines you will get to taste the $60 entry fee is essentially free. You won't be disappointed.
