OW, this is off theme but your post called it to mind. When my granddaughter who is now 11 years old was bout 2 years old, she kept aggravating me one way or another. (not really) Anyway I made up a little poem for her that got her to settles down. It went.

Papaw, Papaw
sitting in his chair
Papaw, Papaw
woolly old bear.

She got so tickled she forgot all about harassing me! She still remembers it and has even taught it to her now 6 year old sister.
