Merci, sounds interesting and I've haven't had the Frappato grape yet. I'll look for it, although a casual peek on Wine-Searcher was not too encouraging.

Is the wire on Heredia bottlings a hex against the s-word?

Well, that Frappato isn't Pinot Noir from California. But wouldn't it be fun if it were?

The wire? I'm afraid you must address that question to the López de Heredia sisters. I merely thought it as a sort of guarantee that the bottle hadn't been messed with.

And I insist:

SPOOFULATION!

Also, I bought my bottles of Occhipinti Frappato 2005 from Chambers Street Wines. They might have run out by now.

Rhys and Alesia, wouldn't it be? Good to see you back around these parts (and others), LL. Sorry that I missed you when recently in NYC.

Yeah, I htink that's it. Alesia, at least, rings several bells.

Sucked not being able to see you, man. My life is very, very complicated these days.

Too early if you ask me.

They are around, and for some inexplicable reaon one can see people buying avocados.

But, much better to wait for fuller flavor, if you ask me.

I didn't mean in the upcoming season, but in general...
