Holy cow, Bob!!! That's an amazing set of notes. I could never attend an event like that and keep going with the notes the way you did - guess that's one of those things that separates the pros from the amateurs! Notes like that are a real asset to this board.

It also sounds like a really fun event. Normally, I'd shy away from something like that over fear of crowding. After reading your account, I'm ready to head for Vegas next year. $200 is steep, but you tasted a hell of a group of wines. Well worth it for the opportunity to do that without having to fight for the tastes.

Thanks.

Mike, I don't know next year's schedule, but they also play this gig in Chicago and in Atlantic City. All the reports have been positive -- the key bitch is not enough places to put down a plate and enjoy the food.

Suggestion if you go: grab a table early, or if WS sets them up, a spot at a table where you have to stand. Having a "designated table sitter [standee]" was a great advantage for Janet -- and for me.

Thanks for the compliments -- I appreciate them.

Regards, Bob
