Some of my top ten from 2010:

2007 Alysian Wines Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, Floodgate Vineyard (Gary Farrell)

2006 Domaine de Montille Pommard 1er Cru "Les Pezerolles" Burgundy

2007 Merry Edwards Flax Vineyard Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley

a Tignanello that Brian brought to an offline at The Girl and the Fig, Sonoma (didn't keep notes on the vintage)'

a Chambolle-Musigny (probably Arlaud or Digioia-Royer) that I took to a bring your own bottle night at Elliott's on Linden

2007 Alex Gambal Clos Vougeot Grand Cru Burgundy (taste only but I bought a bottle which is still unopened)

2007 Vineyard 29 Cru Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley

1994 Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve, Napa Valley (taste only at a Robert Mondavi dinner)

among the better white wines: a Roland Tissier Sancerre (Loire Valley), a 2007 Lioco Charles Heintz Vineyard Chardonnay and a 2005 Domaine Pinson Chablis Montmain 1er Cru

I will try to get more Chablis, white Burgundies, white Sancerre wines and Mosel and Rheingau wines into my lineup in 2011. Also may purchase one or two Condrieus.

Thanks, Jim

Sure! They are both really inexpensive, fabulous dry roses. I went through a big rose phase last summer. I bought a mixed case of mostly French (with a couple Italian & Greek) ones on K&L, and was particularly pleased with these.
