My favorite Thanksgiving meal wine pairing ever was a 2002 Maculan Brentino. A Bordeaux blend made in Italy with French grapes, I believe. It had an herbaceous note that played perfectly with the dressing. It must be rather unusual as I have not seen the wine again.
