Hi Mike,

I really hope you make it this year. It is always fun  to share wines with you.

Maybe I misunderstood, but I thought that Robin was going to make this Mo'Cool thread a sticky for a while so that more board members could be kept abreast of planning. Robin, if you are not going to make it a sticky, what do you suggest. As you know this forum is the most traveled, and the offline/planning where we planned to move it after a while is much less used. Call me a troublemaker. :-(

Bob, either Robin, Jenise, David, or Rogov could globalize this message if the big guy agrees. It seems worthy of globalization to me, at least until June 30th.

Is Robin going to MoCool this year?
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows

James,

If Robin does not want this to be a sticky, I wish he would chime in and say so. As it is, nobody knows anything. Actually I don't see why a 2 week sticky would be such a problem, but I don't know the overall about things. I suppose new threads could be started, but that would be harder for interested parties to keep track of. As far as Robin making Mo'Cool this year, I have no idea.

Just a quick comment. I made the topic a sticky based on a PM I received this AM.

Due to my personal schedule and situation I am not considering MoCool this year & so had no reason to view the thread. Robin, Jenise, Rogov and I are all busy people, so if people feel something needs attention please let us know. Despite our best efforts we cannot read everything.

Dang, I'm getting married on the 14th.
If any one wants to travel up north before or after to the Old Mission Peninsula, then please let me know and I'll find some time to taste through the interesting tanks and barrels.

I'd like to stay in a cabin. Any info on cabin reservations? Anyone want the upper bunk?

Personally, I don't know why you didn't suggest he just bring the entire wedding down!

James,
Actually, I thought of that..what more perfect venue for a wedding? The tent is set up..the food professionally catered..and all the wine anyone could wish for! I was going to regale the incredibly gorgeous location, but I know where Sean lives and ..well, he wakes up to breath-taking views every day! However, if he changes his mind, I'll bring the rice!

Howie, the sign-up page is posted and reservations are being taken. Check it out here: http://www.signup4mocool.com/ In additions to signing up, you probably should contact Clay here: clay@chartermi.net to let him know without him having to check everything for himself. AFAIK, when you sign-up, it goes to Joel, and takes care of it including passing it to the other organizers.. I am signed up for three nights beginning Thursday.

Tom,

Thanks...will be good to see you and the brothers! BTW, as a precaution to avoid missing the party this year, I am having my other knee 'scoped tomorrow.....so I should be in good shape by mid-August!
Cheers!

Mike,

Looking forward to it. I know you will bring some nice wines. I am thinking of going with tempranillO/Ribera del DuerO and barolO/nebbiolO or double "Big O" for my wine with maybe a pinot thrown in for good measure.

Luci and I are all paid up for both the picnic and 2 nites lodging. Since the payment was accepted, does that mean there ARE spots for us in a cabin/cabins or the lodge. I would assume that if all spots were filled up, the lodging option would not be available on the sign-up website. Hopefully Clay has a spot for each of us!

And don't forget OntariO :-)

I'm actually leaning toward tempranillO or BarolO, but maybe a Southbrook framboise will make a good dessert wine.

So we don't have to have a stack of three "stickies" occupying the top of the first forum page, I've unstuck the Cabin Rental post now that folks have had ample time to sign up. So it doesn't get lost, though, here's a link to it:

PS. Hmmm...notice it is '"mocool.ORG"...coincidence for the Big O? I'll let you decide. 8)

Good point Ted,

I could bring another double "O" as I have a nice pinOt from OntariO - a Le Clos Jordanne.
