But David, there is just so much out there! I am buying the 2007 Alain Jaume cdr (Grand Venur) in a 3 liter bib, and the price is only a dollar more than the $7.50 reported. I KNOW that the G-V is way better than the wines reported on. If she is not marketing then she needs to explore further. Heck, I don't know who this lady is, but she could work for my local newspaper!

That implies a requirement for a wine writer (I won't say critic) to be specifically focused on finding THE VALUE WINE versus exposing people to things they may never have heard of or considered.
