Sorry (everyone) to go so off topic, but I'm opening a contemporary art center in Sao Paulo in February that will, among other things, invite local Bourdieu theoreticians to curate exhibitions that might illustrate some of the taste forming mechanisms that he describes. I read your text a long time ago and remember it to be judiciously critical of Bourdieu, and I want to reread it soon. I'm sure that much of the same mechanisms apply to the world of wine as well...
