Thousands of times! The things I think of saying but don't would fill a book--considering that I appear to operate with no restraint whatsoever, that's pretty scary, isn't it?

I'm torn, but at two for $25.00 I'm sorely tempted. Has anyone tried one of these? (I'm always fumbling around trying to write notes at standup tastings. )

Variants of these have been used at wine festivals in New Zealand for years. The one you have pictured looks a particularly sturdy holder - although it is a bigger glass than is used at festivals here.
I reckon it was designed by a male as they work better for guys and reasonably flat chested girls. For others it tends to bounce around a bit when you walk, which can be dangerous for your clothing if there is wine inside your glass, never mind losing your precious sample of wine.

Need to take a note - slip your glass in the pouch. Need to go to the loo -- ditto.

And here we see the real advantage that this version has over the codpiece-type.
