David M. Bueker wrote:Joe is seriously underselling the occasion. It was the best offline I have ever attended. Great ceremony (a bit too windy for candles) & a reception that will rival any offline I ever attend for the rest of my life.
The bride was stunning. The groom was stunned.
Wines were going around at a pace to rival King Fung, with many amazing bottles (several courtesy of Joe himself). The Bollinger VVF and the mag of Krug NV were both out of this world. The '95 Leroy Clos Vougeot was otherworldly. The d'Yquem was...well...d'Yquem! There's no way to list all of the outstanding bottles (by the way...The Shadow was flowing for free!!! Great stuff, even in this auspicious company.)
Lots more stuff, including mags of Prum & Donnhoff, and a bottle of Finca Sandoval brought specifically to make the groom retch.
Tons of fun celebrating with Amy & Joe as well as the whole Boston geek crowd.
Thanks Joe & Amy for inviting us to take part in your special day.
