Sometimes the distinction between what I'd call smooth and what I'd call flat is very thin. Case in point I had the Tzora Shoresh 2014 and the Vitkin Special Edition Israeli Journey Red 2016, and I felt one was flat and the other smooth. And which of the two is what, keeps changing.
As for the white, there was no ambiguity there. I had the Tzora Shoresh White 2014, produced of Sauvignon Blanc. The tight grained barrel provides plenty of nuanced undercurrents to the plentiful tropical and summer fruit floating above.
