This weekend I had a pair of wines from Tzora, the Judean Hills Blanc 2013, and the Judean Hills Red 2012. This white, that usually feels more like a mix of apple/pear with melons, somehow showcases a range of citrus flavors, from grapefruit to tangerine. I enjoyed the interplay between the fruit and the oak. The red, whose tannins are nicely integrated, displays ripe black fruit, benefiting from peppery spice and a strong nose of chocolate and cocoa.
Best,
