I've been intending to taste the Hagafen Prix Sauvignon Blanc 2015 for about half a year, and I finally got around to it. This is a wine the actually deserves to be called Fume' Blanc, as its most distinguishing characteristic is it's toasty oak. I was expecting more "cut" from its acidity than what I felt. As far as it's fruit is concerned, it is generic summer fruit. Then I opened my first bottle of the Tzora Shoresh 2014, that's a blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. It opens with Eucalyptus and follows up with ripe black fruit.
Best Regards,
