Hi Harry,
Perhaps to clear the air from the odious vibes wafting from the inauguration, I chose the Besomim NV by Hajdu. Seldom is a wine as well defined by the name picked by its winemaker as this one. It is clearly categorized by its perfume that one might even label as heady. The experience is akin to one breaking their habit of drinking their usual Starbuck's Columbian brew to go with their Pumpkin Spice Latte instead, and indeed similar notes of nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon are easily detected in the wine; a blend of Zinfandel, Petite Syrah and Syrah. This is not an acid driven wine, rather one that is lush and with enough alcohol to keep you warm and fuzzy on a cold winter night and a frigid political season.
Best Regards,
