As stated in a different thread, WA's ratings do not interest that much, usually. For those it does, 2009 Capcanes Flor de Primavera (Peraj Ha'abib) was rated 95 by Mr Parker, his highest score ever for a kosher wine. The Flor de Flor 2007 was granted a 94.

Great TN Jon! I only had the '05 and loved it! The '08 is now available in Israel at ILS 280 ($74!) so I don't think I'll get a bottle of it soon but who knows... Might do the effort for the '09 though, we'll see...

In addition to the Pacifica wines Gary L. mentioned, Oregon winery AlexEli is set to release a Willamette Valley Pinot Noir in the next few weeks. I hope to taste the wine in a week or so and will report back when I do. Price is about $36 plus tax & shipping with a $15 credit if you order six or more. Winery reports that the wine will only be offered from the winery but we shall see.

As a follow on to their successful 2007 release, Hagafen released a 2008 Cabernet Franc, this time in their Prix series. I have a bottle on hand and will be tasting in the next week or so and will report back. Hopefully it will be longer lasting than the 2007 vintage in the "regular" series which has been discussed here a number of times here http://goo.gl/9HyJ8 and most recently here: http://goo.gl/jfaui.

I also heard from a retailer that the following will be released in the next few days:

Funny you should confuse the name...it seems to have multiple names but "Goose Bay Washington State" isn't one of them

It is called "Pacifica" & "Evan's Collection" or something like that...

Why not? I would equally consider Wine Spectator as well.

There is also the Goose Bay Washington State Pinot Noir that should be released soon! Also, the Flams will be here soon along with the Tulip wines. All fun whites for now and maybe the Flam Classico as well.

We visited the Flam winery last month. Golan told us that the 2010 Blanc and Rose had shipped to the U.S. in December, and that the Classico would ship as soon as they printed the labels.

Does anyone know anything about the Chateau La Clare 2010? Royal has it listed on their website ( http://www.royalwine.com/wines/chateau-la-clare ) and I found it on a couple of online websites with no details. I have not been able to find out anything about the wine and it's availability from any of the kosher wine stores that I asked.

Let's say there is a pre-release occurring on Feb 1 with a full out release following the NY & LA food & wine shows in mid-February.

So while you should be able to get your hands on some beginning Feb 1 it might be nice to try it at KFWE or IFWF first and see how much you love it

No one, that I know of, has tasted the wine yet. It will be released at the end of the month, a red grape wine called Noiret and a dry white Riesling.

The issues will be east cost folks which cannot be shipped directly to, because of your stupid laws, but west coast and Midwest states are a bit more normal and have no such issues, for the most part.
