Capcanes, Flor di Primavera/Peraj Ha'Abib, 2004: A blend this year of 35% each Garnacha and Cabernet Sauvignon with 30% of Carinena. Super-dark garnet reflecting in part a 42 day maceration period, with still firm tannins needing time to settle down but with balance and structure that bode well for the future. Opens with spicy wood, that quickly residing to show plum and currant fruits, those complemented well by white pepper, sweet herbs and a light mineral note on the finish. Unfined and unfitered, the wine will be at its best only from 2008 and then should cellar nicely until 2015. NIS 130. Score 92. K (8 Nov 2006)
